What causes mould?
Mould requires moisture to grow. Common causes include plumbing leaks, roof leaks, poor drainage, condensation, inadequate ventilation, flooding and other water intrusion. Identifying the moisture source is essential to preventing mould from returning.
Do I always need mould testing?
No. Laboratory testing is not required for every inspection. It is recommended where mould is not readily visible, hidden contamination is suspected, indoor air quality requires further assessment, or laboratory confirmation will assist decision making.
Can you identify where the moisture is coming from?
Yes. One of the primary objectives of our inspections is identifying the source of moisture contributing to mould growth.
Do you remove mould?
No. We specialise in independent inspections and investigations only. This ensures our findings remain objective and free from conflicts of interest.
How long does an inspection take?
Most inspections take between three and four hours depending on the size, complexity and condition of the property, along with any additional testing required.
Will I receive a report?
